Tambaú Beach is one of the most known beaches of João Pessoa. It’s urban, close to
houses and commercial establishments. It’s also considered as a meeting point for young people, who crowd bars and kiosks next to Tambaú.
The sand is beaten and thin, and the water has a green tone. There’s Mercado de
Artesanato Paraibano, constructed in colonial style, visited by tourists in search of souvenirs and regional products, like laceworks, crochet
and carpets. One of the great attractions of the beach, besides bars and liveliness, is “Picãozinho”, a set of natural pools 2km away from the
beach. |
