Globo Hotel |
The hotel worked at Rua João Suassuna, on a construction dated from 1912, and only
years later it moved to Praça São Pedro Gonçalves, into a building constructed in 1928 by Henrique Siqueira, hotelier also known as "Seu
Marinheiro”.
It tells the stories of many VIPs who got lodged there, including President João
Suassuna who stayed there after assuming the government. Besides that, it’s famous for offering to tourists one of the most beautiful views of
the sunset. It was the first luxury hotel of João Pessoa.
It was registered as State Patrimony by Iphaep (Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e
Artístico do Estado da Paraíba) in 1980, August. |
