Carnaval begins earlier in João Pessoa, city notable for its natural beauty and
liveliness of the local people, who celebrates the carnival already in the first week of January. For being a people who starts the year with so
funny parties as the people of Paraíba, the carnival could only be considered one of the best of Brazil, out of its time or not. The
commemorations gather residents and visitors of many regions during three days at the coast side of Cabo Branco and Tambaú beaches.
Animation is in charge of the local bands of more prominence and also great names
of Bahia’s popular music, with the presence of several “trios elétricos”, concentrated near Farol de Cabo Branco. The “abadas”, which allows
people to stay inside the isolated area, are sold beforehand.
There’s the option of watching the carnival from boxes and from the bleachers,
which offer an infrastructure with restrooms, mobile health units and police. |
