Main celebration of Lençóis, “Festa de Nosso Senhor Bom Jesus dos Passos” occurs
among the end of January and beginning of February to honor the city’s patron saint. There’s a mass in homage to the saint and “novenas”,
besides processions and presentations of “Lira Popular”.
Other interesting events during the celebration are the exhibition of “Ternos de
Reis”, “Marujada” and indian groups, besides the traditional “Passeata dos Garimpeiros”.
