Manaus - Tours - Ponta Negra Beach

Although it’s distant from the coast, there are beaches in Manaus. They are fluvial beaches that leave nothing to be desired to the traditional ones with salt water. The main one is the Ponta Negra Beach, the most famous and frequented in the city.

In its 2 km of extension, the Ponta Negra Beach is only 15 km away from downtown and is margined by countless kiosks, stalls and bars which are crowded since morning until the sundown. At night, special illumination grants the movement of those in search for fun until dawn.

To those who like sports, the Ponta Negra Beach also count upon a leisure complex with soccer field, sport courts, track field, cycle way and a belvedere above the Rio Negro Bay.
