Founded in 1962 by Dom Oscar de Oliveira, the museum comports a patrimony of around
2000 pieces, donated by several parishes, devotees and seminaries. The objects are separated by categories, divided into porcelain, crystals,
sculptures and paintings.
The museum receives an average of 18 thousand students yearly and promotes art
exhibitions with frequency. The space works in partnership with Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto.
