Among the other activities that can be done inside the farm, there’s the visit to
“Repouso Boiadeiro”, which has space for rest and access to the pool or to the souvenir store, next to the mini museum. There, the guests may buy
pieces of local craftsmanship.
There’s also a stable, where the horses used for rides around the farm stays, and
an amphitheatre, where lectures of “Gadonça” project, which studies the local jaguars, are done.
The photographic safari is another option of ride in open cars, so the guests can
take pictures and meet the local fauna and flora. The Chalana ride is a kind of “fluvial ride”, where, sailing through Corixo São Domingos, an
extension of Miranda River, the passenger may watch animals like the martim pescador, biguás, herons, socós, hawks and even alligators and
anteaters. There’s also the focusing in night animals and a barbecue done at Corixo hills, where Seu Casimiro tells stories during the whole
night.
For those interested in a closer contact with the farm routine, there’s the
opportunity to milk cows, which starts at 4 am. |
