Mãe Luiza Lighthouse, located at Areia Preta Beach, was inaugurated in 1951,
August. The 37m high monument has a panoramic view that reaches as far as 70km. It’s an obligatory stop for visitors of the natural beauties of
the region. It’s necessary to go up 151 steps before arriving in the summit.
