Mineral Museum illustrates the history of mining in Brazil. The activity was,
until some years ago, the only profit source for a great part of the population and was one of the responsible by the socio-economic
development of Brazil.
The memorial counts with around 750 pieces that represent the supply of precious
and semi-precious stones of Rio Grande do Norte. Among the stones like “berilo”, “feldspato”, quartz and tourmaline, visitors can watch pieces
acquired by the State Government and local collectors.
