Park of the Dune occupies an 1172 hectares area inside the urban perimeter of
Natal. The place is very important to the region, not only as entertainment option, but also in the preservation of some native species. The
entrance is “Bosque dos Namorados”, where tourists know the main attractions and counts with infrastructure like restrooms, snack bars and
playground.
When going around through this space it’s possible to know more about the geologic
formation of the dunes, common items at the beaches of Natal, and obtain information about the 269 species of plants and animals of the region.
It’s interesting to take guided tours, where guides give details of the fauna and flora. The duration of the course is previously defined,
varying according to the fitness of the tourists. |
