Carnatal
For lovers of carnivals out of season, an excellent option in Natal is the famous
“micareta” entitled “Carnatal”, which occurs annually in December, dragging many people to much music and fun. Many groups make crowds rave with
popular artists and uninterrupted hours of popular rhythms like samba and especially axé.
Revelers have to buy “abada”, which is the “uniform” that guarantee their presence
on a stated “bloco”, as the reveler groups of each “trio elétrico” are called. The “blocos” are isolated by ropes to be identified. People
enjoying Carnatal without “abada” and out of the “blocos” are called “pipoca”. The advantage of being part of the paid “blocos” is that many of
them offer gifts and support structure, with ambulances and more security. |
