Known as one of the most traditional celebrations of Redinha Beach, in Natal,
Nossa Senhora dos Navegantes Party is one of the parties organized by the local church. Realized at the end of January, the party is done at the
shore in honor to the local fishermen and sailor’s patron saint.
There are folkloric dance presentations and shows of popular groups. Usually there
are masses, followed by “novenas” and processions, and embarkations and photo contests. |
