Nossa Senhora de Nazaré Matrix Church was erected in the first half of the
18th century. The original façade, tough, was substituted in 1860. The temple and all its patrimony is protected by
IPHAN.
The altars are carved in wood and foiled with gold. The ceiling of the major
chapel has nice paintings, but the great prominences are the panels which cover the major chapel
