Museu of Sacred Art of Ouro Preto has on its patrimony more than a hundred pieces
that displays the religiosity of the local population. Among the exhibited objects are saint images, furniture, clothes, documents and
photos.
Founded in 2000, the museum runs in Nossa Senhora do Pilar Matrix Church, on the
church’s crypt. Curiously, the local was found during one of the reforms, where historians believe there was a gold mine.
