Museum of Reduções was idealized by four brothers, who decided to assemble a
memorial containing replicas of the main historic monuments of the city. They were inspired by european museums of the same kind.
Curiously, the exhibited replicas are made of the same material of the original
constructions, giving more realism and fidelity to the works. Among the more interesting miniatures are Palácio da Alvorada and Casa dos
Contos.
