Museum of Science and Technique houses several study areas, like mining,
metallurgy, drawing, topography, astronomy and power electronic. There are also items related to natural history and more than 30000 pieces
from all over the world, including stuffed animals, skeletons and fossils.
In the astronomy sector, visitors get to know old lunettes and telescopes,
besides the Observatory, built in 1926. In the mineralogy section, there are several samples varying from diamonds to uranium. Some curious
stones are also exhibited, like the flexible quartz, stalactites and other rare minerals.
