Serra do Tabuleiro State Park is the largest environmental protection area of
Santa Catarina. Visitors car go through a 1km long eco trail accompanied by local guides and, during the course, they receive explanations about
the different areas of the park, besides knowing a little more about the native vegetation and the animals of the region. The tours are done in
groups of 20 people.
The rivers of the area are responsible for the supply of potable water of the
entire region of Florianópolis. In the park, besides rafting, visitors also find other activities, like walking, rappel, waterfalls and hang
gliding.
