The Genuíno Choperia e Bar, is among the ten houses that serve the best
draft beer of the city. Located in Vila Mariana, in a two-storey houes built in 1930, the place also has the draft beer Brahma Quality
Certificate.
The conquest of this certificate is just an acknowledgement for the extreme
care with which the drink is served. There is a three finger collar in a draft beer taken between 1º and 2º C in a german machine, which
reaches the table at the right temperature to be drunk.
In partnership with Brahma, the Genuíno Choperia e Bar offers still the draft
beer club. The client can choose from a card 30, 50, 100 and 150 draft beer and gain 10% discount. Everytime he goes to the bar, the waiter
put a small cask of draft beer on the table with the card inside. The client controls the consumption as he drinks the draft beer.
Those who want to can choose teh whisky club, which works the same way. In this
case, the client buys a bottle which is labelled and goes to the table or to the bar when requested.
The place is very popular with executives that have elected the bar as one of
the favorites for the happy hour, besides the students and professors from the colleges nearly. Many people go to the house because of the
comfort. The ambiental music lends a relaxing touch to the bar and allows the clients to talk in a normal tone. It is also very common
for the Genuíno Choperia e Bar to lend space for birthday parties.
The idea o opening the business began with a group made up by seven friends that lived in
the same building in the region and used to go to bars. When the realized that the choices in the district were very few, was the sign for
them to ripen their project.
Today, the Genuíno Choperia e Bar has clients that back for quality and
comfort, besides being considered one of the most tradition house in the district. |
