Varig
operates the largest network of airway routes in Brazil and at present flies to
110 cities together with the Rio Sul and Nordeste. Besides this, the company has

The company was
created in 1927, in a small room in the Associação Comercial of Porto Alegre.
Along the 77 years of existence, more than 210 million passengers have been
transported in almost 3 million flights.
Varig is
first plane was the Atlantico for nine passengers and a medium velocity of 180
