diverse menu – from appetizers to the traditional sushi, sashimi, tempura
and nabe-ryouri (vegetables and meat boiled in the pot) – satisfies the
Japanese clients as well as Occidental. The shabu-shabu and the sukiyaki
deserves special attention, both dishes use “Kobe beef”, meat created in
Brazil, and are meticulously prepared by Rangetsu´s masters. The sushi is
made with selected ingredients and imported rice. The sushi tastes exactly
as in Japan. Rangetsu uses special vinegar imported from Japan. One tip is
to try the sushi served in the counter.
The
liquors, for example shotyuu and sake, are another “must” of the
restaurant. The menu includes labels already known in Brazil, like
Hakutsuru, Ozeki and Azuma Kirin, and also famous and highly regarded
labels from Japan, like Otokoyama (from Aomori Prefecture), Setyykambai,
Onigoroshi (Gifu Prefecture) and Nihonkai (Niigata Prefecture), the labels
only available at “Rangetsu of Tokyo” with reasonable price. There also
have Brazilian origin liquors like cachaça.
The bar
of “Rangetsu of Tokyo” is an excellent option for anyone who would like to
enjoy an appetizer and sip delicious drinks after a stressful work. The
tip is to try the simple cocktails that is not listed in the menu, but can
be ordered directly to the barman.
The lunch
of “Rangetsu of Tokyo” also deserves your high attention. With an
accessible price level (around R$ 28,00), lunch dishes satisfy even
clients who eat much. Serving style is “á la carte” with good services.
During lunch hours, the most ordered dish is the “Shokado Bento”, served
sashimi, grilled meat, tempura and others, with a salad, a side dish and a
