After the beautiful bossa nova music played by the sextet, some dancers invade the
stage to start the show with some of the strongest characteristics of the brazilians: the happiness and the swing. The performances evolve until
the dancers leave Bossa Nova and start an adaptation of “Ópera do Malandro”, from Chico Buarque de Holanda, one of the most important composers
of MPB.
With much swing and the poetic and romanced roguery of the 70’s, the spectacle
reveals some of the characters from Rio de Janeiro that were in the streets, smart and agile, besides some trait with the ladies. |
