Memorial of the Immigrants occupies a set of buildings where formerly there was an
inn that received recently arrived foreigners to Brazil. There are exhibited personal objects, furniture, documents, photos, vehicles, clothes
and testimonies of italian, spanish, japanese, portuguese, german and other immigrants.
There, it’s possible to consult registers of those who passed there between 1882
and 1907. During weekends, visitors can make a tram tour through the district streets or take a locomotive tour, in the internal courtyard.
