Downtown - São Paulo |
There are those who say that the biggest city of Latin America is not for tourism.
And it’s true when you’re planning to spend the time on a nice and calm place, enjoying nature and listening to the sound of silence. Tourists
arriving in São Paulo can expect everything except lack of options to know the liveliness of the city and get into São Paulo’s nightlife.
São Paulo lives on a different rhythm than any other brazilian capital. Knowing the
city is to notice how much it is ahead of its time and how it changes the life of its people, residents and tourists. On no other metropolis people
are exposed to a huge amount of information, impressing a peculiar movement even in the way that the people of São Paulo see the world.
Those who think that the accelerated rhythm of São Paulo people’s life has hardened
them are completely wrong. São Paulo is, without any doubts, very hospitable and the population is quite used to foreigners. Especially for having
an enormous community of foreigners that elected São Paulo as their new home as well as for receiving various travelers that come to the city just
to do business.
Since no one is made of steel, even those who travel on business usually make some
small cultural tours, generally during weekends, which makes São Paulo a center called Business Tourism. The great attractions of the city are
the historical buildings besides a huge amount of entertainment options. There are almost 300 projection rooms, more than 90 theaters and about
70 museums.
It’s not by chance that it’s also considered the brazilian capital of gastronomy.
It’s easy to find good places that serve from typical dishes of various regions of the Brazil to dishes coming from far places. There are about
12500 restaurants in São Paulo with around 46 kinds of cuisine. The best of all is that almost all of then are open 24 hours a day, or at least
open until the last customer leaves.
São Paulo is, maybe, the most cosmopolitan metropolis of the world because, in
contrary to other big cities, here’s a mix of people who know how to live in peace and take advantage of the best of each culture to form its own
identity. Those who don't know São Paulo definitely don’t know how it is to be connected with the world.
