Built during the 30’s, Congonhas Airport transports about 12 million passengers per
year from the most different places. It has space for 25 planes simultaneously and the passenger’s access to them is made by bus. There are
several stores and restaurants, besides a parking lot.

Airport resembles a city. Not only by for the number of people passing daily through the place, about 100000 people, but also for the quantity
of commercial and service establishments installed there. It also has a huge parking lot.
The building shelters Latin America’s second biggest cargo terminal, only behind
to Mexico City, and transports up to 75000 tons of products annually. There are expansion projects of the airport aiming to increase the
circulation of passengers in up to 29 millions of people per year.
