Museu Regional of São João del Rei has furniture, sacred images and objects used
by artisans of the 18th and 19th centuries. There, Comendador João Antônio da Silva Moura lived.
The prominences of the patrimony of Museu regional are an organ which belonged to
Nossa Senhora do Carmo Church and an image of São Sebastião, sculpted by Aleijadinho. Besides the permanent exhibit, visitors may use the
library.
