Snow Valley or “Vale da Neve” in portuguese, remounts to the sceneries of American
lands, more precisely Colorado. The park was idealized by an american that arrived in Brazil with his family in the middle of 1961 and rapidly
invested in the tourism potential of São Joaquim.
This small reserve attracts many visitors, who arrive in search of entertainment
and rest in the middle of nature, watching closely the recover of part of the vegetation destroyed by wood harvester. The park has five
waterfalls, prehistoric plants and several species of flowers, besides trails, restaurant, craftsmanship, camping and picnic area. There are also
cottages and lodging for those who want more comfort.
