Snow Festival |
“Festival da Neve” (snow Festival) is one of the more important dates of São
Joaquim’s event calendar. In the celebration, which occurs annually between June and July, folk dances, theater plays and music shows are
presented. There are exhibitions with craftsmanship pieces and art objects, besides the fair of regional products.
The involvement level of the people in the festival is so high that surpasses the
limits of the city. The commemoration involves residents of the five cities surrounding São Joaquim: Bom Jardim, Rego Fino, Bom Retiro, Urupema
and Urubici. |
