São Luís Buildings
Edifício São Luís is the biggest building covered with glazed tiles in Brazil.
Constructed in the middle of the 19th century, it has three floors covered with blue and white portuguese hand painted glazed tiles.
The building’s interior was completely destroyed in 1969, during a fire. Actually,
a bank agency of Caixa Econômica Federal operates there.
