It belongs to Arquidiocese de São Luís and has a patrimony of sculptures and images,
dated from the 18th and 19th centuries.
Museum of Sacred Art is placed in a story house from the 19th century,
covered with portuguese glazed tiles, carrying influences of the baroque, rococo and neoclassical architectures.
