During the week after the carnival, Festa de Lava Pratos is commemorated. It
gathers the various revelers who want to celebrate carnival until the last moment.
Everything begins when a carnival block starts the party on a certain point of the
city, which becomes a meeting point for revelers. Soon, they form a huge block that pass through various places of São Luís and then starts to
invade the neighbor cities, especially São José do Ribamar.
