The restaurant was opened in 1976, when the Rissago family came from Japan
to Bahia. They planned to work in agriculture in a japanese community in
Mata de Sao Joao. However they decided to found a restaurant to serve
lunch-boxes to the compatriots who worked at the Camacari Petrochemical Pole.
Nowadays the restaurant works in an ample house in the border.
